Two strings attached

You’ll need only fabric and thread šŸ˜‰

This is an almost final effect:

blouse

Since Sunday I’ve been wondering how to finish it, wheter do it ‘normally’ or not. I could add some white ribbon or lace at the end of sleeves and at the bottom of the blouse, maybe under the bust, but I’m not sure if it is a good idea. Any suggestions?

Up to this point the blouse was done like this:

1) Cutting the sewing pattern:blouse3

The pattern for the bottom part of my blouse was simply copied from one of my favourite blouses.

2) Sewing together the back parts – top and bottom and the front parts – two tops and one bottom.

3) Preparing holes for strings, Ā attaching them.

4) Sewing the sleeves. While sewing two ends of sleeve together, I stopped more lessĀ Ā at the height of the elbow.

Enjoy!
